To remember and celebrate her on this day,
the Zaidel and Hansen families gathered to watch a sunset
from the docks not far from Ellie's home.
On July 13, 2007, a tragic accident led to the passing of a beautiful and wonderful little girl, Ellie Zaidel. Just short of her second birthday, Ellie was always a source of joy and inspiration to all those around her. Ellie's Fund was created so that she can continue to touch the lives of countless others through charitable giving.

Special emphasis will be on providing assistance and opportunities to young people in Ellie's memory as well as celebrating Ellie's love for the remarkable natural beauty of Northeast Wisconsin.
